  • Developed a smart–factory monitoring system, which provides an interactive GUI for monitoring up to 100 end-devices in real-time. It also notifies user about inconsistencies in the data from end-devices and assist with options to perform remedial operations.

  • Developed scripts performing data analysis on malicious Wireshark network captures to reduce the work of forensic investigator by 50% in an IoT-specific forensic investigation. Presented this work at American Academy of Forensic Sciences(AAFS) 2016 Conference.

  • Awarded the Black Hat Student Scholarship 2015 for writing a white paper on information security of IoT devices.

  • Networked with educational and research leaders within the community at cyber-security conferences and helped fellow research group members advance their work through potential collaboration.

SMART FACTORY MONITORING SYSTEM- AN IOT APPLICATION

Developed an IoT application which monitors and records light intensity values using sensor technologies throughout the factory (a sample testbed) and provides an interactive GUI for the factory administrator to proactively monitor manufacturing production lines’ light sensor values and sends alerts that keeps key people notified and informed.
